This is the official website of the IRC channel #Maltafriends on the Undernet IRC network. #Maltafriends was registered by wangy in 1999. Most of the users and channel operators have changed during this time, but one thing still remains the same, the reason behind the setting up of this channel... a friendly place where people can meet, make new friends and have a good time while 'online'. Thinking of joining us? Go ahead, everyone is welcome, all you need is an IRC client, you can click on the mIRC image to the right to download the client or you can click the live chat button to connect through your browser, you will need to install a java applet to do so, press ok to install the applet if you wish to connect this way. Hi,
Following the idea of creating a #Maltafriends Committee to cater for the organization of future volountary events, the channel's operators nominated 20 users to fill in the positions needed in this committee.

All the nominees were eligible to vote during the committee election held on saturday 20th June 2004 at the Jerma Hotel, M'Scala.

  Euro 2004 Kicks Off  
  Euro 2004 has just kicked off with all of europe's best teams rearing to go. Who will win this year's event? hehe i wish England would, but that's just a dream i think, we will have to see what happens and always keep my fingers crossed :)
